Based in US, our Indian division has turned 18 now. So on this big-day of ours, we decided to pen-down our success-story.
Meet the man behind BatchMaster India…
Mr. Sanjay Panjwani is the Managing Director of BatchMaster Software Pvt. Ltd. India- one of the leading providers of ERP solutions.
BatchMaster India celebrated its 18th birthday on July, 1 this year, but Mr. Panjwani says starting up required a lot of persistence, confidence, and support from family, well-wishers, and employees.
Patience…
He launched BatchMaster India in 2000 with six other colleagues and a little investment- few basic configuration computers, internet connection, no VOIP telephones, but HUGE passion.
All had fire to move ahead in life and their go-getter attitude put BatchMaster on the right track.
Mr. Panjwani recalls the time, of early 2000, of dial-up internet connections and using free messenger services to coordinate with US Headquarter and clients.
He recalls waiting for hours and hours to upload even the smallest of setups.
“We started with quite a small office. We didn’t have many people to work. We would change roles to sometimes become a developer, researcher, tester, consultant or even a peon.
Sometimes we spent the whole day in office to match with the US working hours and coordinate/communicate with the US clients”, he says, before adding, “It was exhausting.”
Gradually, all the hard work paid off. Today, BatchMaster India has grown from a company of seven members to a big corporation employing more than 500 people, with several customers worldwide, and offices having state-of-the-art infrastructure.
“We experienced progress, and God has been kind to us,” he says.
This approach of perfectly balancing everything to perfection and making the most of what’s available is definitely a factor behind the success of his business of developing tailored ERP software for a vast range of process manufacturers- including some of the largest ones in the world.

BatchMaster Software Pvt. Ltd. is a USA-based company having a long history of serving the Process Manufacturing industries since its inception in 1981.
Strong associations with both Microsoft and SAP have seen it grow and maintain its leadership in the mid-market for this sector.
BatchMaster was founded by Randy Peck. Dr. Sahib A Dudani, later overtook and helped grow the company from a Silicon Valley startup to a global enterprise.
Dr. Dudani has over 35 years of successful experience in the software industry; both as an entrepreneur/business founder, and as a technical innovator of new software products.
He grew the company and decided to launch the operations in India.
First Impressions…
For Mr. Panjwani, the customers were and are the King. They can make or break a company.
From its first customer, till today, delivering best of service and support always tops the list for him. He believes it is the best way to be in business and grow the business.
“We were selling our proficiencies, by standing-up to our commitment, and because of this the customer trusted us.
This doesn’t mean there weren’t any issues; there were, but they were sorted in the best possible way. And then, of course, we got other customers, and the list is huge now”, he added.
Growth…
It had been a colourful journey; we had our share of ups and downs. But despite all this, the BatchMaster’s history is glorious and so would be the future.
